Sure Step is a product created to have safe footing while entering or exiting your fish house, but also for added security of potential break-ins.
Folded down while in use it provides extra footing outside the door.
Folded up it locks against the door providing an extra layer of protection for any would be thief to have to get through.

Absolutely love this step and security. I would’ve given 5 stars but the brackets are 6” tall, my frame only has 4” of mounting surface so I had to modify them to fit. Wish they’d make options. But overall a good product.

Stepping up big time
Was very easy to install. Took about 20 minutes.
Did add a rubber stop on it so it does not scratch the house.
But it nice to step in the house with the step. Trapped the snow from coming in the house. I wish I bought this a long time ago!!! -
